Reiki treats your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body through your life force energy and works from the inside out on root cause
Reiki is the Japanese word for ‘Universal Life Force’ - it is pronounced ‘ray-key’. It refers to energy that surrounds us constantly and flows through every living thing. In Japan it was originally taught by Mikao Usui in the 1920’s as a self healing method and a path to enlightenment.
How does it work?

The energy promotes healing wherever it is needed and uses a technique commonly called palm healing or hands on healing.
Through the use of this technique, practitioners believe that they are transferring this universal energy (i.e. reiki) in the form of ki through the palms, which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium.
It works holistically on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects together to restore balance and health.
Reiki can be used by anyone irrespective of their beliefs. It is suitable for all age groups and states of health.
Reiki is powerful, yet gentle and safe. It can be used alongside other forms of treatment, both conventional and complementary in supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
What does a treatment involve?

A reiki treatment lasts for 45 minutes.
Following a consultation the client remains clothed and reclines on the couch to be treated using a “light hands on” technique in positions relative to the chakras and to the area related to problems being experienced.

The session is completed with aura clearing techniques.
